• Health Services Access: We request access to your Health services to provide personalized commentary on your health data, including glucose levels, oxygen saturation, energy burned, and daily steps.

On Android:

We request the following permissions:

• Reading your steps (android.permission.health.READ_STEPS) to monitor daily activity and promote an active lifestyle.
• Reading your blood glucose levels (android.permission.health.READ_BLOOD_GLUCOSE) to offer personalized insights and help manage blood sugar levels.
• Reading your oxygen saturation (android.permission.health.READ_OXYGEN_SATURATION) to monitor oxygen levels and offer health suggestions.
• Reading your active calories burned (android.permission.health.READ_ACTIVE_CALORIES_BURNED) to track physical activity and encourage fitness goals.

On iOS:

We request the following permissions:

• Sharing your health data with Nanachat (NSHealthShareUsageDescription) to provide personalized health insights.

• Updating your health data based on interactions with Nanachat (NSHealthUpdateUsageDescription) to ensure accurate and timely health suggestions.

• Analytics and Crashlytics: We use analytics and crashlytics tools to improve our service and ensure a smooth user experience.

How We Use Your Information

• Providing Services: Your prompts and interactions are sent to Gemini API and Vertex AI to deliver our services. We do not identify users or track individual prompts.
• Health Insights: Your health data is used to provide personalized comments and suggestions to help you stay healthy and active. Users can opt out of health suggestions if they choose not to use these features.
• Improving Services: Analytics and crashlytics data are used to monitor and enhance the performance of our application.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain user data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove the user’s data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Sharing Personal and Sensitive User Data

We share health and other data exclusively with the Gemini LLM model for the purpose of incorporating this information into prompts. The Gemini LLM model processes these prompts in accordance with their Privacy Policy. The shared data is not personalized beyond including a “name” provided by the user, which can be a real name or a nickname such as “Alice,” “Grandpa,” or “Pumpkin,” based on the user’s preference.

We also use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to improve our services. This may include analyzing your prompts, including those containing health data, to enhance service performance and user experience.

Additionally, we share your uploaded or taken photos with the Gemini LLM model to facilitate conversations with our fictional character based on these images.

Accessing and Deleting Your Data
